"Is he okay?" Amy asked with worry as Mya came back from the ER.

"He's going to be fine. His scar was a little inflamed, causing him pain. Must of been from being down on the beach." she sighed.

"Well, I thought salt water was a good thing?" Drew jumped in.

"Yeah," she paused and sat on a chair near the wall. "it must have been something else or maybe he did something to it last night and didnt remember."

Amy snickered. "Anything is possible."

"So, will he be able to go on with trip to the Bahama's?" Drew asked with curiosity.

Mya looked down the hall to the ER rooms, hoping for any sign of Justin so that they could leave as soon as possible. "Yeah, he should be alright. He's just supposed to take it easy until then."

"That's good. We are gonna have so much fun." Amy giggled like a child.

"I was told that the filming is starting next week, so you guys are taking a private jet next Sunday." Mya informed them.

"When did you hear this?" Drew asked quickly.

"Earlier when I was in the back with Justin, I stepped out and used my cell to update everyone at the studio with what was going on. They told me then." she replied as she looked back down the hallway.

"Did they say anything about Justin?" Amy questioned.

Mya pushed a strand of hair back behind her ear as she looked back to Amy. "The director, you know, Robert Ashton, he was a bit worried but I told him that Justin would be fine."

Amy shook her head, knowing who she was talking about and replied. "Well, thats good that the plans dont have to be altered."

"Mya?" a doctor walked up to them.

They all stood up and Mya walked up to him. "That's me."

"Justin is going to be fine. I put him on some antibiotics so he should be okay in a few days."

Mya sighed. "That's good. Can we go yet?"

"Actually you can. You can all go out the back so that Justin doesn't have to go through this busy lobby." he finished as he turned around and led them down the hall.

The time flew by and before they knew it, they were all in the Bahamas. The first week of shooting went smoothly as Mya learned quickly and seemed to be a natural at everything she did. Robert Ashton was pleased with her "easy to work with" attitude and optimisim and relaxed his uneasiness as the days went by.

The hot sun glared down on the white beaches, making the sand unbearably hot, causing the filming to be shortened for the day. They wrapped up the last scenes and Justin and Mya hurried to find Drew and Amy at the nearest private pool.

"Hey, you guys are early!" JC shouted from inside the pool where he was joined by the other three boys and Amy and Drew who were all playing volleyball.

Justin laughed as he and Mya went to the bathrooms to change into their bathing suits that they had brought with them. "Yeah, man, its a scorcher out there with that sand."

"Was there alot of people watchin' you guys?" JC yelled so that Justin could hear him from inside the bathroom.

Justin walked back out after changing in only five seconds, which didnt surprise them since they were used to doing quick changes at concerts, and jumped into the pool. "No, not really. There was hardly anyone out unless they were in the water."

Lance, who was on Amy and Drew's team, crossed back over to join JC, Chris and Joey as Mya joined everyone in the pool.

"Can we join your game?" Mya asked, grabbing the volleyball.

"Hey, we've been waiting for a serve for awhile now." Joey joked.

Mya grinned. "Ok then." she snickered as she smacked the ball and started the game.

For the next three hours they played in the pool and layed around. Amy and Mya sipped their fancy drinks with their umbrellas as private waiters catered to their every need. The guys messed around throwing football and playing yet another game of volleyball.

Justin's cell phone rang just as the boys finished with the pool, making Justin run to it, his soaking wet feet splashed the concrete making feet prints to where he stood.

Mya watched him as he talked on the phone, looking a little distraught, pacing every now and then as he finally hung up and walked over to her.

"Well, I got some news." he huffed.

"Bad, by the looks of it?" she guessed as she stood up. The other guys came over to them to grab their drinks and listen in on the conversation.

"That was the offices calling from Hollywood/Touchstone. They wanted to let me know that they have someone to sing for you in the movie." he looked away from her and back to the pool.

"And?" she asked, growing impatient.

"Well," he paused. "They decided on using Britney."

Mya's mouth dropped as she looked to Amy and then back to Justin. "You're kidding me, right?"

"Nope, sorry." he shrugged.

Mya rolled her eyes. "Well, as long as we don't see her then I don't care."

Justin winced as she finished. "I didn't tell you the bad part."

"Could it get any worse?" Mya replied but immediately bit her tongue, knowing that there was more.

"She will be here tomorrow."

"What?!" Mya shouted. "Why?"

"I don't know. She just got signed on and she wanted to hang out with us I guess." he backed up in case she got crazy on him.

"No, I don't think so. I'm not hanging out with her and neither are you." she demanded.

The other guys started coughing and made themselves known that they were listening to the conversation. They slowly made their way over and joined Amy and Drew who stood a few feet back.

"Excuse me?" Justin retalliated. "Since when did you become my boss?"

Mya put her hands on her hips and replied. "Since your ex-girfriend decided to come here and make herself at home."

"Well, this is a public place. She can be here if she wants to."

"And I bet you can't wait." she huffed as she looked away from him.

Justin walked up closer to her. "I don't know what you're problem is but if you are going to be jealous, you don't have to be."

"Why not?" she looked back up to him. "You know that everytime you get close to her that you are afraid that you will fall again. I can see it in your eyes."

"Mya." he replied but he knew somehow that she was right.

"That's the reason you have stayed away from her for so long. I know more than you think I do, Justin. And I know that when she comes here it will be hard for you to not look at her that way. You need to know that deep down she still and will always love you just like you do for her."

Justin sighed. "That's not how it is, Mya. You know that I love you."

"You have not seen her face to face, looked in her eyes, smelled her perfume, touched her skin or tasted her sweet flavored lipgloss for over a year. And you know what Justin? I don't want to be here when you do." she finished as she walked out of the gate and headed towards the empty beach where only the crashing waves that reminded her of home could give her repreive.
